About the Collection Artemide New Nature
The LED floor lamp New Nature by Artemide was designed by Ross Lovegrove and projects a lively light and shadow play on the ceiling and on the walls. Its fluid geometrical shapes are borrowed from botany and create a new kind of illumination with overlapping light and shadow patterns, organic three-dimension and LED light sources for diverse tasks.
The filigreed column is made of thermoplastic synthetics, the base is made of chrome-plated steel and further elements of aluminium.
New Nature has two separately switchable light sources. There is an indirect light outlet which turns the column into an uplighter in the upper part. There is another LED unit inside New Nature's base which illuminates the column from inside, emphasizing its three dimensions and providing a soft lighting in the room.
The floor lamp is equipped with a switch on the cable, controlling both light sources. While the internal, diffuse light is only switchable on and off, the uplighter's light is also dimmable, enabling a unique illumination. The light fixture can be controlled with the innovative Artemide application.
