Product details

The table lamp with clamp Artemide Tolomeo Mega Tavolo is composed of two adjustable arms, either in black or glossy polished aluminium, and a conical shade available in three sizes and three different materials. This luminaire offers great possibilities of flexibility and mobility on account of the system of spring balancing using joints and fixations from polished aluminium as well as cables on guiding wheels. The shade is from slightly shiny light grey silk satin and looks nearly white as soon as Tolomeo Mega Tavolo is on, whereas the shade from stabilized parchment paper in natural colour gives off an extremely warm and pleasant light. The latest design version offers the Tolomeo Mega Tavolo in a total black finish. This functional luminaire is delivered together with a polished aluminium clamp on which the luminaire can rotate. Please note that you have the possibility to use a screwing system (desk fixed support) to affix the lamp to a desk (not included in the delivery). This version of the celebrated design classic spends an optimal direct and partly scattered reading and task light. This lamp can be operated by means of a dimmer. Another variation with on/off switch is also available within the same product family.

If you wish another individual composition of this lamp, for example a black structure with shade in parchment paper or a glossy polished aluminium body with black shade, please contact us personally.

The Tolemeo was first presented to the public in 1987 on occasion of the famous light fair "Euroluce" in Italy and received an instant success. This success was confirmed again in 1989, when the two designers were awarded the Compasso d'Oro. To this day this lamp is a best-seller that is continuously developed and is available in a growing number of versions
