The Chimera lights by Artemide are designer classics by Vico Magistretti, designed in 1969, yet still modern and decorative. The collection includes a floor lamp and a table lamp called Mezzachimera.
Both versions have a wave-shaped diffuser. It is made of hot-bent methacrylate. It has a white opaline surface and beautiful curves resembling refined glass. It provides diffuse light, turning the light body into an eye-catcher and charmingly accentuating its shape. The soflty curved light column rests on a discreet base of white lacquered metal. The switch is located on the electric cable.
Chimera and Mezzachimera enchant with a timeless design, a beautiful shape and a pleasant light. They adapt to nearly every setting and are spectacular even when switched off. Because of the relatively tall shade, it is possible to place the table lamp not only on tables and sideboards, but also on the floor. The floor lamp is impressive and ideally suited to provide a lighting note and a charming design statement in a room corner or next to a couch.
