The Type 75™ is Sir Kenneth Grange's modern, new interpretation of the classical Anglepoise design and utilizes its proven tension spring technique. The lamp was designed in 2004, inspired by older models from Anglepoise's history, such as the "Model 75" from 1969. The shade has a soft fluid shape and a minimalist appearance which is perfectly suited for the 21st century.
Type 75™ is available as a desk light, a floor lamp, a wall lamp and clamp lamp, always with adjustable reading light, and is therefore always the right choice for the home office, or as a reading light next to the bed or sofa. In addition to the original size, there is also a smaller version, Type 75™ Mini, availabe in many variations.
Light shade and arms are made of lacquered aluminium, while small details such as the caracteristic springs are finished in shiny chrome. The double arm structure allows to flexibly and accurately adjust the direction of the light. The switch is usually integrated in the lampshade, conveniently located within reach. The wall lamps without double arm are the exception, placing the switch on the wall base instead.
