For the past 24 years, Manfred Wolf und Jean-Marc da Costa have been designing and producing lights with a high standard of handicraft and consequent design down to every single detail.Having kicked off with five models, that were firmly established within a few months in over thirty of the most important German furniture stores, they now have an extensive range totaling 50 models – desk, ceiling, wall and standing luminaires.
And each year they add new designs based on their own or other designers' creations.serien.lighting lamps are made of materials that match the application purpose of the light.
They are in line with what every lamp should achieve: accentuate, change the atmosphere or emphasize specific areas.
Essentially, the two designers have remained true to their liking for the constructional and simple basic forms.
In their search for an appropriate outer form for a certain type of luminaire, a certain light source or a clearly-defined lighting task da Costa and Wolf have repeatedly come up with highly regarded innovations.
The serien.lighting lamps include strikingly masculine creations with a minimalistic approach reduced on architectonic elements as well as poetical re-interpretations of traditional light fittings combined with unusual materials such as ceramic foam, bi-metal or translucent foil.
