Multipot by Rotaliana belongs to a new generation of lighting objects and is the first of the producer´s products to combine lighting with other functions. Multipot is an hybrid, multifunctional lamp, which combines a diffused ambience-creative light using energy saving 24 LED, a multisocket, and a lower, vase-shaped, containing space to tidy away any extra cabling. Multipot achieves new convenience standards, both in the home and at work, by respecting both the old traditional requirements (for example somewhere to put keys or other personal objects when emptying one´s pockets) with new needs for space (such as the ever-increasing use of rechargeable multi-media equipment, bringing the computer home). Multipot can be placed in any corner in the home. Its lid can be used as a well-lit tray for casual objects; as somewhere to recharge your portable phone, your digital camera or electronic game equipment. Multipot design takes the form of a vase, the archetypal ´container´ (to contain the light, cables, sockets, objects, etc). With its familiar looks, lighting function and translucent finish (to filter the light while masking the electric cables), the Multipot is a picture of elegance with functionality. Multipot is a useful and decorative tool, which helps to manage the profusion of electric and electronic equipment in a way that is both safe and practical. The lid can also be used as a dish for holding lesser objects, illuminated so as to be seen in the dark. Multipot makes the ordering of electric cables both safe and practical. It meets the need to bring electricity to wherever it is needed, tidying away the cabling, and connecting up our burgeoning technological networks, next to the television set to connect up all additional equipment while the LED light reduces eye-strain, next to a computer workstation, to provide both light and order in a cable-free environment. The lid doubles as a 5 way multisocket designed for round plugs. It also comes with a 1.900 mm feeder cable and an illuminated on/off switch. Incorporated in Multipot the multisocket no longer has to respond to its traditional role of being something to hide. The vase-shaped under container provides safe housing for excessive electrical cabling. Its sockets are placed at 60 degrees and its maximum output power is 2.000W.
