The Petite Friture brand produces lamps and home accessories with a unique French charm: elegant, light and surprisingly different. Founded in 2009, the company is already one of the most important brands in the French design world.
Company founder Amélie du Passage spent her childhood between Paris and Darlington in Great Britain, which shaped her sense of contrasts. She studied at the HEC business school, worked at the Ministry of Culture and later for the international art fair FIAC. Petite Friture was born out of her passion for design and her desire to promote young and unknown talented designers.
For Petite Friture, design is an expression of the French art of living; it should arouse emotions and surprise again and again. As an "Éditeur de Design", Petite Friture pursues the goal of constantly being different and shows a willingness to take risks that pays off: It all started with the cooperation with Constance Guisset, who was still at the very beginning of her career at the time and realized her first lamp with Vertigo. Today, Vertigo is one of the bestsellers and classics in the Petite Friture and Guisset ranges, one of the hottest designers in France.
Petite Friture works exclusively with European manufacturers and sources, for example, porcelain, mirrors and leather from France, steel from Poland and earthenware from Portugal. Petite Friture's lamps and design objects are always of the highest quality and some designs are only available in limited series.
