Suspension lamp Pleat Box 13 by Marset, which is also available in three more sizes, is the result of a brilliant teamwork between master ceramicist Xavier Mañosa from Barcelona and the Mashallah design studio from Berlin. The latter have provided a digitally-based design of the suspension lamp, that imitates creases in a piece of cloth. But despite its look, the object is totally made of ceramic, personally shaped by the hands of Mañosa himself. The choice of material and colour convey a distinctive touch to the luminaire. It is either available with a grey, white or terracotta red surface. Inside it is covered with brilliant white enamel or 18 carat gold, finishes that create fascinating light reflexions and constitute a fine contrast to the naturally rough exterior of the lamp.
