More about the brand Kundalini

The Italian brand Kundalini creates lamps with a high recognition value, which on the one hand illuminate the rooms functionally and on the other hand touch the viewer emotionally.

The lights shine with graceful geometric shapes and expressive colors, with each light having its own idea and each light revealing its own story. With an unconventional approach to design, Kundalini creates a new aesthetic that results from creativity, careful selection of materials and the use of the latest technologies. Without a doubt, the unique Kundalini lights are design objects of perfect form, which can always be described as the perfect balance between functionality and emotionality.

Kundalini was founded in 1996 and is already one of the world's leading lighting brands and, above all, one of the most innovative in Italy. In addition to the more philosophical view of light and its mode of action, Kundalini has also intensively researched the processing of new materials. Over the years, Kundalini has developed many new technologies and manufacturing processes, such as two-tone co-extrusion or laser sintering. It was only with the help of these manufacturing processes that lamps like the Shakti could be made of two-tone acrylic glass and with two cutouts. Kundalini also trod completely new paths in lighting design with Abyss, which is no longer listed in the range today. At Abyss, flexible polycarbonate was fitted with a high-voltage LED strip. The result was archaic structures and organic forms with extra-terrestrial light.

By collaborating with architects and designers of the premier class, such as Norman Foster, Zaha Hadid, Karim Rashid or Paola Navone, Kundalini was able to realize the vision of a "supernatural light". The result is a diverse lighting collection that expresses the lighting artists' enthusiasm for the mission of Kundalini.
