Artemide Tolomeo LED table lamp with clamp

Famous design, perfect functionality and energy-efficient lighting: Table lamp Tolomeo by Artemide is now available as LED version. This means reduced energy consumption, longer duration and illuminance performance. LEDs emit 100% light flow to the immediate surroundings. With an 10W LED the same illuminance is obtained as with an 100W incandescent bulb.

The Tolomeo series gives an impression of lightness. The two adjustable arms are made from polished aluminium. The lamp head from anodized aluminium can be oriented in any direction with the aid of a little stick. Its flexibility and mobility is a result of of the system of spring balancing using joints and fixations from polished aluminium, as well as cables on guiding wheels. Tolomeo LED comes with a clamp instead of a table base. It offers optimal direct and partly scattered reading and task light. It can be operated and dimmed by means of the black switch located on the head of the lamp.

Tolomeo was first presented to the public in 1987 on occasion of the famous light fair "Euroluce" in Italy and achieved an instant success. This success was reconfirmed in 1989, when the two designers were awarded the Compasso d'Oro, the Italian design Oscar. To this day, Tolomeo is continuosly adapted to actual requirements and remains Artemide's best known representative.
