Cini & Nils Gradi Soffitto ceiling lamp
The ceiling lamp Gradi Soffitto by Cini & Nils includes a cylinder made of highly heat-resistant glass treated with special enamels. The lighting body serves as reflector, antiglare shade and bulb protection. A wide variety of lighting can be generated, by orienting the semicircumference-shaped support through 90° and the reflector itself through 360°. Tools are not needed to replace the bulbs. Three different types of glass cylinders are available. Depending on their use, it is possible to create different kinds of illuminants. The cylinder version "retinato" spends a general, mostly indirect lighting. Only about 10% of the light is distributed glare-filtered through the black raster-patterned surface. The remaining 90% of light is emitted free through the other transparent part of the cylinder. The model "opalescente" has a partly opalescent and partly transparent glass. It is suited for a general lighting where the aim is to achieve a balance between direct and indirect lighting. About 30% of the light is diffused by the opal white part of the reflector. However indirect light shines through the clear part. As third version there is a clear reflector "trasparente". The complete transparent reflector creates a uniform general lighting in rooms with high ceilings, using particularly bright light sources, emitting light free over 360° and distributing the light in all directions with a constant, uniform intensity. The lamp is offered with a shiny-chromium finish or as a nickel-plated satined version. As already mentioned the bracket holding the cylindrical diffuser can be mounted downwards or right-angled.
