Description: The ceiling lamp Lucenera 206 by Catellani & Smith uses 12 Volt - 50 Watt bulbs with a 35 degree dish. The lamp let one adjust the focus and project a cone of light anything from minimum 25 cm diameter at 30 cm to 135 cm diameter at 200 cm. Intermediate positioning is also possible, of course. Only be moving the tube back or forward, the beam can be widened or narrowed according to need. The lamp is made up of two black, unidirectional carbon fibre tubes with a high heat resistance. The both flexible arms are affixed on a cylindric black ceiling bracket. The flexible black pipe is made up of a high quality powder thermoplastic material (Rilsan) and can be bent in any direction. Thus the concentrated light beam can be oriented where needed. The black colour has been selected randomly to prevent the light beam from refracting at source so that it is clear cut on arrival. Furthermore the lamp features shiny nickel steel details. By application of this lamp range a magic twilight area can be created, bestowing it with all the fascination of space, but contemporaneously it can be produced technical light. The lamp allows to manipulate and create new, different lighting athmospheres, in the home or in public areas. It it available in three different lengths.
