The table lamp Tolomeo Micro LED by Artemide combines a new lamp head with an innovative LED light source that provides a warm, intense light with low energy consumption.The swivel arms of the table lamp from polished aluminium are adjustable and the head of the lamp from mirror polished aluminium and satined methacrylate can be oriented in any direction with the aid of a little stick. This luminaire offers great possibilities of flexibility and mobility on account of the system of spring balancing using joints and fixations from polished aluminium as well as cables on guiding wheels. This functional luminaire is optionally delivered with a base from polished aluminium, with clamp or desk fixed support. Also this version of the celebrated design classic spends an optimal direct and partly scattered reading and task light when placed on desks or bedsides. It can be operated by means of the black switch located on the head of the lamp. The Tolomeo was first presented to the public in 1987 on occasion of the famous light fair "Euroluce" in Italy and received an instant success. This success was confirmed again in 1989, when the two designers were awarded the Compasso d'Oro, the Italian design Oscar. To this day this lamp is a best-seller that is continuously developed and is available in a growing number of versions.
