The small wall lamp Tolomeo Micro Parete by Artemide gives an impression of lightness. The two long and slender adjustable arms of the wall lamp are from polished aluminium. The head of the lamp from mate anodized aluminium can be oriented in any direction with the aid of a little stick. This luminaire offers great possibilities of flexibility and mobility on account of the system of spring balancing using joints and fixations from polished aluminium as well as cables on guiding wheels. The spring system was first used in the nineteen-thirtees for the famous "Anglepoise" lamp with the aim to achieve more mobility. This functional luminaire is delivered together with a polished aluminium wall support. Please note that you can easily transform this luminaire into a table lamp. For this purpose, you only need to purchase the required table base, the clamp or the desk fixed support to affix it to the desk. This version of the celebrated design classic spends an optimal direct and partly scattered reading and task light. A little aperture on top of the conical metallic shade gives off a small light beam. This lamp can be operated by means of the black switch located at the head of the lamp. The black cable of the lamp is to be connected to the next socket. Besides the very famous mate anodized version, Tolomeo Micro Parete also comes now in nine new fresh colours. These are not only suitable for children's room and can also be a style statement on desks, in bedrooms or in living rooms. The Tolemeo was first presented to the public in 1987 on occasion of the famous light fair "Euroluce" in Italy and received an instant success. This success was confirmed again in 1989, when the two designers were awarded the Compasso d'Oro. To this day this lamp is a best-seller that is continuously developed and is available in a growing number of versions.
