Anthologie Quartett Illustri table/floor lamp
Design: Hans Heisz
Description: The floor lamp Illustri by Anthologie Quartett features a soft light that is strongly suggestive of the fine beams of light coming from Japanese akari lamps. The main part of the lighting fixture is made up of one of the basic geometrical shapes, the sphere. Artfully draped bands that are made up of the flameproof and papery plastic material Nomex, are fixed on the illuminant and create the peculiarity of Illustri. In comparison with the rather rigid nature of classic japanese lamp designs, its predominant shape is of almost chaotic appearance. The lighting fixture features a modular rod with an iron plate made up of prevailing high gloss polished and waxed steel. If you wish to remove the settled dust you can buzz it off quickly in the bathtub and after drying you can reuse the light as usual. Illustri is equipped with a dimmer and is available with three different sizes.
