The side table Arte 01 by Accente stands on a sub construction consisting of four legs. Both the table-board-ring and the table legs are made up of solid wood alternatively stained or coated. The table board base and the center of the table board are covered with netting. Additionally the center of the table board is faced with a 4 mm thick and clear glass plate. The glass plate is also downside coated in 11 glossy colours or 9 satin colours available on request.
Above all, in the year 1981, it has been the idea and the courage, by the brothers Vieten, setting about reviving, refreshing and making perfect a traditional and extraordinary technology for furniture manufacture. Hereby it concerns the Loom-Technology, which has been developed in the USA, in the twenties. With this idea, Hans and Heinz Vieten have given an impulse of revival to the Loom-Furniture, in the whole world. ACCENTE Loom-Furniture possess an resilient core of high qualified, curved beech wood. Coated with a close fabric, consisting of wire and thrown paper. The material is making possible an incredible multiplicity of shape, which is manufactured in endless webs, There are hardly no limits of creations for a designer like Hans Vieten, inventor of new shapes and complete collections.
